September has been a busy month for PaTMa, with a range of new features and improvements designed to make property management simpler, faster and easier to manage.
From streamlined property setup and improved landlord communication to easier Section 13 rent reviews and a new way to move properties from Deal Finder into Property Manager, here’s what’s new.

Simpler Property Setup
Setting up a property in PaTMa is now quicker and more straightforward.
When adding a new property, you can enter the address and property type and get the property into PaTMa with fewer steps. Property images and EPC information are now managed separately, making the initial setup cleaner and allowing you to update these details afterwards.
You can also now change the property type of an existing property. If a property changes from a Single Let to an HMO or Commercial property, there’s no need to delete it and start again.
Clearer Tenancy Setup
We've also made it easier to keep track of your tenancy setup.
A new progress bar on the homepage shows how complete your tenancy setup is, giving you a quick way to see whether there is any information still to be added.
Improved Landlord Communication
PaTMa's new Landlord Announcements provide an easier way for agents to communicate important information to their landlords.
You can send an announcement to multiple landlords at once, include attachments and set a reminder to follow up with anyone who hasn't confirmed they've seen the announcement.
We've also improved landlord contacts, allowing you to add multiple contacts to a landlord. This is particularly useful when documents or landlord statements need to be sent to more than one person.
Easier Section 13 Rent Reviews
Section 13 rent reviews are now easier to access and manage within PaTMa.
From a tenant's Rent section, the new Add menu provides a clear option to start a Section 13 rent review. Any existing rent reviews are also shown with their progress, making it easier to see what still needs to be completed.
We've also added support for agents to sign Section 13 rent reviews, rather than restricting this to landlords where an agent is handling the process.
Improved Inventory Management
We've made managing property inventories simpler too.
You can now add rooms, descriptions, items and images with fewer steps. Metered utilities can also be added alongside readings and photos, helping make the inventory process quicker when checking a tenant into a property.
From Deal Finder to Property Manager
For customers using both PaTMa Deal Finder and Property Manager, we've introduced a simple new way to move a purchased property from one system to the other.
If you've found and shortlisted a property in Deal Finder and then gone ahead with the purchase, you can now select Create Manager Property to send it directly into Property Manager.
The property's image and key information are carried across, allowing you to select the appropriate property type and get started with managing the property without having to set it up again from scratch.
