Market Data
Overview
Property Prospector includes market stats for any region (by postcode prefix).
The data is aggregated weekly and monthly from property listing websites:
- New listings
- Average list price
- Average list price per property type
- Number of sold properties
- Price changes
- Time to sell
- Sales that fell through
- New rental listings
- Average rental list price
- Time to rent
Add a Region
To view market data you'll need to set up a region to monitor.
You can add a new monitor from the Market Reports page, which also displays any existing monitors.
Start by clicking Add Location in the top right, then choose either a country (UK only) or a postcode prefix, and click Save.
A monitor will be set up for you - you'll receive a weekly recap by email, ands can also view the stats from your PaTMa account at any time.
View Data
From your Market Reports, click the eye icon next to the monitor you need to view.
You'll be taken to an overview of the market data we have for that region. The graphs can be viewed or downloaded, and the data can also be downloaded as a spreadsheet.
Delete a Monitor
Any monitor can be deleted by clicking the trashcan icon for that monitor.
Deleting a monitor will remove all associated data and disable emails. You can add a new monitor again at any time.
